The Butternut Suite was the summer kitchen until 1950. It now has a king bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa bed and a gas stove, and a private door onto the brook garden.
It sleeps four, so families and friends traveling together book it most. Dogs are welcome here.
Breakfast is still at the long table, but we will bring a tray over if someone is still asleep.
